There is a real problem in the Research Triangle Park area. There are to many homeless animals without homes near us. These animals deserve better and never did anything to deserve the fate of being left out to the elements. This issue relates to our community because, when a pet goes missing any person with a heart becomes sad and when you are sad you don’t make the best decisions which could lead to the endangerment of more pets and people. I am interested in this issue because personally I love animals and I have two of the best dogs ever at my house and the thought of either one of them scared and lost on the streets tears my heart to shreds. The community is affected by this issue because when someone close to you or you yourself lose a pet you become depressed and distracted. If we have distracter partakers in our community so many bad things can happen. A distracted driver could seriously hurt him/herself or even a child or pet. Others should care about this issue because you should always care if someone is distressed after losing a pet because you would want that sympathy to reciprocate if you lost a pet. A solution would be to find someone who is trustworthy and has quite a large net worth and you could work with them to buy a large plot of land or house and then hire a small workforce of people to round up animals in a safe and kind way and bring them to this pet haven. This is a really big issue. I definitely agree that we need to more about caring for these sheltered animals. I have 2 dogs myself and it would be horrible to see them on the streets. People should care more and make smarter decisions about our animals.

Why are the pets living on the streets? Is there an easier way to prevent this issue?Who could we find that has a large net worth and is willing to spend money on this cause?

I agree with the statements you made on the issue. I also believe that this is a big problem and that people should come together to find homes for these animals. These animals should not be left alone without shelter, water or food available, as it puts them in serious danger.
